I interviewed with Lynch Mykins in Nov 2022. It was a great experience, I felt like I could be myself. They really focus on culture and seem to care about their people. I didn't accept their offer for personal reasons, but I would consider working there again if the opportunity arose.

I applied online and heard back in 2 days for a phone screen. The interview was scheduled, and the interviewer had clearly done their homework and came up with insightful questions. It lasted about 45 minutes. She told me I was moving on to the next step. I then interviewed with my potential supervisor. She immediately impressed me and earned my trust. I really liked how they use personality assessments to show they're serious about personal and professional growth. I discovered a lot about myself during the interviews, and I really value how much they focus on their people.

The Lynch Mykins interview was a really positive experience, one of the best I've had. I often think about it, and even though I ultimately accepted a different offer, I learned a lot. I went in feeling comfortable in my current role but decided to go for it since I had nothing to lose. The interview itself, which included a Revit test, lasted a little over an hour. It felt more like a natural conversation about our stories, interests, and career goals rather than a typical high-pressure interview. The interviewer played a big part in making it feel so comfortable. My only minor critique is the conference room setting, which wasn't ideal, but I understand they were in the process of moving offices. Overall, I'd rate it 9/10.

It was a two-part interview process. The first part was a phone call with some basic questions. Then there was an in-person interview which was pretty in-depth. They really care about team fit over just education. They mentioned they work hard and things move fast. A test was given during the second interview, covering some fundamental FE questions about structures and foundations. The second interview was about 2 hours long. They encourage engineers to pursue SE certification over PE. It sounds like a good place to work, maybe.
