Matt Cassel from Lux reached out on Linkedin because I seemed like a good fit for a customer success role. He was really flexible and easy to communicate with. The conversation then moved to Cole Fox. Cole did a good job figuring out what I wanted to accomplish at their company. We then realized I might be a better fit for a leadership position. Cole was happy to keep explaining more about Lux.

I applied online and after a month, Lux contacted me. My initial HR interview was a no-show; I had to chase them and was told they were in another meeting, but still checking emails. The first call was quick and unprofessional. Then I had a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had a 3-hour in-person interview at their Amsterdam office with different people, which felt disorganized as they asked the same questions. Finally, I had another phone interview with two people, and the company still seemed very disorganized. Throughout the process, speaking with 8 different people, I also completed the lengthy Caliper Assessment, which was described as a personality test but included IQ questions. I was then informed via a short email that my application would not be taken further, and when I asked for feedback or assessment results, I received no reply. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you're a tech enthusiast who doesn't need an organized workplace that values people.

Applied online via Zip Recruiter on 1/19. Lux recruiter reached out on 1/31. Had three phone interviews: 1st on 2/7 with the recruiter, 2nd on 2/9 with the Managing Director of North American accounts (my direct manager). After the second phone interview, I spoke with the head of HR on 2/14 and did an online Calliper Assessment. Then, an in-person interview at Boston HQ on 2/16. Met with 4 people: the Managing Director (already spoken to), an engagement manager, a sales executive, and a senior research analyst. The first three interviews were casual chats about my experience. The research analyst was the most challenging, probing my motives and asking why I hadn't applied sooner. Overall, a great interview process, but no offer.
