First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lutheran Services in Iowa.
Direct Support Staff
The interview process was pretty straightforward, mostly general questions like 'What would you do if...'. It took a while, but that's expected. There was also a pretty long assessment during the application. The staff were really nice.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you had to intervene in a conflict between two or more people?
Caseworker
I talked to my direct supervisor, and we went through some questions that LSI gave us. There was also a part about personal values to see if LSI was a good fit for me.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a coworker. Describe the situation and how you dealt with it.
Care Coordinator
They asked me questions about how I would handle certain situations, why I wanted to work for them, and what I could bring to the company. They also asked why I wanted to work for LSI.
- How would you handle specific scenarios?
- What makes you want to join our organization?
- What unique value can you offer to the company?
