First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lutheran Services Carolinas.
Employment Specialist
I had a virtual interview where everyone was on time. But, the interviewers didn't turn on their cameras, making it a bit awkward. The interview was mostly about hypothetical situations and asking what I would do.
- What would you say is your biggest weakness?
Program Supervisor
I applied through Indeed and also sent an email. I was contacted pretty quickly and had one interview, and then I got the job offer within a week. Just so you know, background checks can drag on for a while, like 2-3 weeks, depending on how many places you've lived.
- What's your approach to managing multiple, conflicting priorities?
Social Worker
There were two interviews that I had to do. They were both one on one and in person, and at the same place too. The interviewers came to an office that worked for me. There was a pretty long gap between the interviews and then I had to wait a really long time to find out if I got the job. After I was hired, the paperwork took forever and some things got lost.
