Did a trial shift in the store. Then had a bit of time to ask questions and fill out a form about my availability. It was a nice experience overall. They showed me around the shop and gave me a bag of products when I left.

We were paired up for the interview. First, we talked about how we'd approach customers and sell products, like in bundles. That took about 20 minutes. Then, we had a 1-hour practical session to showcase our skills, which included doing some demos.

the hiring process was drawn out and long, they required a lot of knowledge about company processes but it was not difficult after preparing, overall a breezy process and I learned a lot from the people that I talked to

First, I was sent an invite to record myself answering about 5 questions related to customer service and management. Then, I had a phone interview with a Lush recruiter where they asked various questions about my background and experience, like "Please give me an example of when you [did something] and what was the outcome?". After that, there was a Culture Hour where I went into a shop to meet the team and discuss how I'd set up the sales floor, what the team's focus should be, and visual opportunities for the shop. They really wanted to get a feel for me and how I'd fit with the team. I was also advised to do some homework on the company, its values, and charity products. The final decision was made after the shop visit.
