So, I had two interviews that went pretty well, but by the third one, it started to feel a little weird. They offered me a job that wasn't even the one I applied for, though they said I could maybe switch to my original role later. But they didn't tell me anything about the offer for the job I actually interviewed for – like, what the salary is, the hours, benefits, none of that. And the manager kept saying how easy the job was, like, over and over. It just felt really disrespectful of my time and effort.

The interview process took about 6 weeks and involved meeting with several team members to gauge mutual fit. A project was assigned to better assess my skillset. Ultimately, I wasn't extended an offer after these steps.

The interview process was informal, with no HR or recruiting contact initially. I was ghosted even after interviews that seemed to go well and after being told I'd receive updates. It would be professional to at least let candidates know if they aren't getting the job.

It was a bit of a wait but totally worth it! Ashley, our CEO, is approachable, friendly and has a great sense of humor. She was even part of my 2nd interview. It was casual and easy as we sat in the kitchen area and chatted about the brand, her experience, and her vision and how I would be able to support that. I was hired! A year later I'm still here, Pandemic hiccups in between, but incredibly proud of the company I work for and passionate to the core to see it succeed. Ashley is involved in every aspect of the business yet, she listens and respects her team's decisions. Working at Lunya has been an amazing experience and Ashley is an inspiring, smart, genuine human that makes Lunya a great place to work at!
