First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Luminator Technology Group.
Applied Software Engineer
The whole process took about a month and everyone I met was very friendly. The final interview was an in-person one, and I really liked my boss and future colleagues immediately. It felt like a perfect career fit, I just wished the interview process lasted a bit longer.
- Could you provide pseudo-code for a function that manipulates strings?
Sales Representative
The interview process involved a phone screening with the recruiter, followed by a team call with the Hiring Manager which was pretty informal and lasted about 30-60 minutes. Finally, there was an in-person interview with three managers, with each interview lasting 30 minutes.
- Can you describe your experience selling technical products?
- What does your usual sales process look like?
Embedded Software Engineer
My interviews were online and about 30 minutes each. They didn't ask a ton of technical questions, focusing more on who I am as a person and my thought process. The interviewers were really knowledgeable and great people to talk to. Honestly, it was probably the least stressful interview I've ever experienced.
- What motivated your entry into the embedded industry?
Product Manager
So, after the recruiter did the first screen, I had a bunch of remote interviews with the hiring manager, the VP of sales, and the VP of Mobile video. Then, they flew me out for an onsite with the Hardware Product Manager, Chief Product Officer, and the hiring manager again (he wanted to go over feedback from everyone else). The day after the onsite, the recruiter called to see if I wanted an offer, which I said yes to. Then I had a call with the Chief People Officer about compensation, and she said they'd send an offer soon. But, radio silence since then. I tried to get ahold of the recruiter, she said she'd call me back and never did. Honestly, super unprofessional and a waste of my time. They could've at least offered some compensation for my time.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you describe your past product experience?
- What motivates your interest in this position?
