I sent in my application online and then had a chat with the COO. It felt pretty casual, and honestly, after that first talk, I never heard back from them. I'm not sure if it was because of COVID messing things up for them and forcing a change in plans, or maybe they just decided to go with someone else.

The process was a bit long and inconsistent for me personally, with a lot of stops and starts. It seems like everyone wanted to meet with me, and I met with about 15 people in total. This is nice in some ways for a leadership position, but it seems inefficient and ineffective when everyone is asking the same set of questions or when there are multiple interviewers at once.

I got an email to schedule the interview and it was a phone call. The interviewer talked about the job and asked me specific questions about my past experience and what I want to do. They were really clear about what the job entails and were nice about it.

It involved three to four interviews with folks at different levels, from e-commerce to C-Level employees. Everyone was super nice and it felt more like a chat than an interview, even though the questions were super specific to the job.
