The interview process was all over the place and didn't really have a clear structure. They started by giving an outline of what to expect, but then they didn't stick to it. A bunch of questions they asked didn't even seem related to the research or the job itself, which made it tough to tell how they were actually figuring out who was a good fit based on their skills.

The interview process was well-organized and planned in advance. Accommodation and travel expenses were fully covered. The day started with a technical presentation followed by a tour of the lab facilities, which offered a good look at the available resources. We then had discussions with individual group members to understand their ongoing projects. The offer was extended via email.
