The process was smooth, with one main technical round. It really depends on the role and team. As a contractor, expect a technical interview with the hiring manager and an HR chat. Full-time roles might have multiple interviews with the executive team.

The interview was pretty laid-back and conversational. Started with quick intros, then we went over my portfolio and I talked about my past projects. They also asked some questions about how I'd handle certain situations and my past experiences.

There were 2 phone interviews at separate times. Both times they were late for the phone interview by 15-30 minutes. I had to take it during my break, so waiting for each of the phone interviews cut into my break time. The first interview 'forgot' about our call until I reached out through email. 2 weeks later, in person interview w/ 2 different people. Interview went great. Followed up a few weeks later to 3 different people with no response. 3+ months later, FINALLY notified me that I did not get the position after I already accepted a much better position elsewhere.

I chatted with a recruiter, then did an editing test. After that, I had two interviews with senior people. The first interview was weird because the interviewer kept taking phone calls and only spoke to me for 20 minutes. The second interview was fine. They gave me feedback that "The main point of feedback was that the personal discussion took up the majority of the call, making it difficult for them to get a better understanding of your experience." I thought this feedback was a bit odd since the interviewer didn't focus on the interview itself.
