First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lucent Health.
Account Executive
It was pretty straightforward. First, I had a chat with the recruiter. Then, I met with a group of three people at my level. Finally, I spoke with the head of the department. No presentations or case studies or anything like that. I got to ask a lot of questions throughout the process.
- What's your strategy for managing a heavy workload?
Desktop Support Specialist
It was a professional interview that covered both my technical skills and personal attributes, aiming to understand me as a whole person. There was a one-on-one part and also a team interview involving several people.
- Given a common problem, walk me through how you'd fix it.
Utilization Review Nurse
I had a Teams video interview with the hiring manager for the department. They asked me questions about my experience, what my expectations were, my knowledge of EMRs, and if I had high-speed internet. They also asked if I would ask my team for help and if I liked to read, and what book I was reading. They explained the job details and were very upfront about everything.
- If you encountered an issue or problem at work, would you ask your teammates for assistance?
Desktop Support Specialist
They made it personal but still professional. They asked about me as a person and how I would fit in and contribute to the team. There were multiple interviews to make sure I was the right fit.
- What would you do for a Tier 1 help desk task?
- How would you go about solving a specific Tier 1 help desk scenario?
