Behavioral Technical Presentation

A recruiter reached out about the Graphic Designer role. First, I interviewed with the hiring manager about design philosophy and company culture. Then, I had a 45-minute interview with two marketing team members where they asked many detailed questions about my design process. They mentioned a paid project as the next step, but the recruiter later informed me they would be delaying hiring for 3 months. I felt this was a disrespectful use of my time and energy after completing two interviews.

It started with a phone interview, then two in-person interviews. After that, there was a project to complete and an office tour. It was great to meet so many team members. They gave us plenty of time for the project and it was nice to get positive feedback.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

The interview process was super long, with 4 interviews in total. First was a phone call. Then I went in person for another interview. They had me come in a third time to show my portfolio to the design team and do a tour. After that, they asked me to do a project and come back a fourth time to present it. It was a good experience overall, and I liked meeting the team. I spent a lot of time and effort on the project I showed, and I felt it was better than they expected, but they never got back to me after the last interview. I would have liked a call back, especially after putting 2-3 months into the process.

Had a 30-minute chat with the boss, who asked me behavioral questions, not logic ones. It felt really welcoming, and they seemed to need to hire someone fast. It was of average difficulty and made me really think.
