I got hired through campus recruitment. LSI came to our campus and shortlisted resumes, then selected interns. First, there was a written test covering basic Electronics Engineering and C concepts. After the written test, successful candidates had a technical interview with a senior engineer, followed by a semi-technical interview with the manager, and finally an HR interview. The technical part focused on C, OS, and Data Structures.

It started with a written test having 20 aptitude and 20 OS questions. Then, there were 4 interview rounds. They asked really basic computer hardware questions like what is RAM, OS, and how to install Windows/Linux/UNIX. They also asked about storage devices (SAS, SATA, SSD), IP addresses, how to connect to a computer, subnets, and VMware. They weren't really focused on coding since it was a testing role.
