After applying, I got a call to come in for an interview. When I got there, I met Mollie and then shadowed a loan officer for about 30 minutes. After that, I did a typing test to see how fast I can type, and then I had to leave a voicemail for one of the hiring managers. Then, I had a formal interview with typical questions. To finish, I had to write an essay about my time at LSI. They told me to call them the next Monday to confirm I was still interested, and I got the job not long after.

It began with a phone call to talk about the job, what it involves, and ask a few questions about me and my career aspirations. Next, I went to their office for an in-person interview that had several parts. They were really helpful during the interview and I didn't feel rushed at all. They mentioned I'd hear back by the end of the day, but before I even left, the hiring manager offered me the job right then and there. I was pretty surprised they moved that fast, and she did mention it's not usually how they do things.

I applied online on Thursday and got a call from the recruiter within two hours. I then had a basic phone interview with the recruiter. The next day (Friday), I had a face-to-face interview. After arriving, I was given a paper with background check questions. Once I finished the questionnaire, I took a typing test. Following that, I completed a computer skills test that involved questions about policies and procedures, for which I was provided a link to find the answers. Finally, I participated in a job shadow to learn about the role.

First a recruiter/HR person called me and asked some basic questions like to tell them about myself, why I wanted to work there, and what I was looking for in a new employer. After about 45 minutes with them, I scheduled what I thought was the formal phone interview. Then I was invited for a face-to-face interview. When I arrived, I had to fill out a form about my knowledge of banking terms and sign a confidentiality agreement. Afterwards, I shadowed a representative for 30 minutes, listening to calls. Following that, I had to complete a typing and computer test, and a voice test where I read a script into a voicemail. Finally, I had the actual interview, after which I was asked to sit and write answers to six questions to demonstrate I was paying attention. The whole process took about 3 1/2 hours and was quite tough.
