First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).
Software Engineer Intern
The process was really long. First, there was an online assessment with both behavioral and technical questions. The OA took a long time, about 1.5 to 2 hours. The 'technical' part mostly involved random math brain teasers and no actual coding. It felt like the OA was pointless and a waste of time. The one-way interview part was fine, though.

Technical Lead
The interview had a few steps. First, an online assessment with a SQL query and a coding problem. Then, a technical round where they asked about my projects, circuit breaker, docker, kuberentes, and a basic Java program. After that, an architecture round focused on my projects, experience, resilience, a scenario about a payment gateway, what makes a good or bad day for me, and questions about Kubernetes pods and containers. Finally, an HR round where they were nice and explained everything.
- Why is there only a single container allowed within a pod?
Software Engineer
It was a walk-in interview with 5 rounds: MCQs, 2 technical rounds, 1 managerial round, and 1 HR round. It all happened in one day, but the final decision would be later. I cleared all rounds, and they discussed benefits, saying they'd inform me in a few days. However, the HR never called or responded to my emails. After 20 days, I managed to get their number and called, only to be told they weren't moving forward with my application, without any specific reason. It was a terrible interview process with no transparency, and the HR and hiring team were unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend joining this company.

- Can you explain sliding window based on Array?
- What are the basics of Spring Boot?
