Project Manager
I got an interview call about a month after applying, which felt like a red flag. Then an HR intern reached out with interview details, which wasn't a great sign either. The actual interview had two people who asked pretty standard questions. They asked me to introduce myself, talk about my family, a leadership project, agile methods, and my 5-year career goals. They didn't take any notes during the whole thing. I felt I answered most questions well, except maybe the career goals one. I didn't get any feedback, so I figured I didn't get it. Then, about a month and a half later, I got an email saying I was rejected. The lack of communication was really bad, wouldn't suggest applying via LinkedIn, better to get a referral or go to a career fair.
- Could you start by introducing yourself?
- Tell me a little about your family.
- Can you share an example of a project where you took on a leadership role?
Project Manager
Sent CV first response back in a day from HR with a few questions Invited for 1st interview with Line manager - went well Invited for 2nd interview with Line manager and one from team. Asked to present PP presentations on previous campaign. Interview 45 mins Didn’t hear back after a week, contacted HR, got a response that still interviewing other candidates 3 weeks later - found out that I wasn’t successful by receiving a Workday Survey to respond to asking how I felt the process went. Only realised I wasn’t successful as the survey was titled Dispositioned Candidate. A truly disrespectful, inappropriate and unprofessional way to find out that you weren’t successful in the role.
- Can you outline all of our product offerings?
Project Manager
It was a two-stage interview. The first round focused on general project governance. The second round was technical, diving into data tools. They'll be looking at your ability to handle multiple projects within a single program and your stakeholder management skills.
- Questions about general project governance.
- Technical questions about data tools.
- How do you manage multiple projects within a program?
