First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LSC Communications.
Audit Senior
I spoke with HR, the Audit Manager, and the Audit Director. Two of the interviews were online, and one was in person at the downtown office. During the in-person interview, I had to do a written case study.
- Tell me about your experience with operational audits.
Manager
Got a call from a recruiter to set up a 15-minute chat. After that, they set up a one-hour technical interview. The last step was an in-person interview that lasted 2.5 hours, and it included a case study.
- Can you share an example of when you used this specific type of software?
Billing Coordinator
The interview process overall went pretty well. I had an initial phone interview, followed by two in-person interviews. After that, I got a call saying I got the job, but then I had to complete a drug test and background check, which I found to be a bit backward since the job was already offered. Ultimately, I didn't get the job because my salary expectations were higher than what they were willing to pay, even though they were looking for someone in New York. A few days after they said I got the job, they informed me they had moved on to another candidate. I think this company needs to update its policies and brand to be more in line with modern practices.
- Were there any challenges you faced in your previous role?
Graphic Designer
Got an email for an interview the very next day. It was on Google Hangout, but only through text, no voice or video. The interviewer sent questions in the exact same way I've been asked before, like they were just hitting a button and taking a while to ask the next one. One time, they even asked another question before I finished my answer. Then they just offered me the job without letting me ask any questions. When I finally did get to ask, the interviewer told me to just reread what was already said. I also asked for a specific start date because I'd be out of the country, but they totally ignored it. This kept happening even when they sent the offer letter. They sent me a check to set up a home office before I'd even signed anything. Honestly, they were super rude, didn't pay attention, and just refused to listen to me.
- How long do you think you would stay with the company if we hired you?
- What's your definition of accountability?
- What's your understanding of "Privacy and code of conduct"?
