First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LS Technologies, LLC.
Intern
It was a very relaxed interview with just one stage. They asked about my professional experience and then requested an essay about who I am outside of work. I found the process to be smooth and well-managed, a great chance to showcase more of my personality beyond my resume.
- Could you tell me about your previous experiences?
- Describe yourself outside of work.
Business Analyst
I had a phone interview first with someone from LS, then the client wanted to interview me. The client interview was challenging, and they said they wanted to move forward with an in-person meeting, and that the LS person would schedule it. I didn't hear back for days, so I emailed the LS rep for an update, but they ignored it. I emailed again a week later and got an out-of-office reply with another HR contact. I contacted that person and was told the client wanted to proceed but I didn't meet some contract qualifications. It was unprofessional for the LS rep to ignore my emails.
- How would you handle a scenario where client requirements are changed?
Strategic Planner
The interview process started normally with a recruiter call, then a phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by a face-to-face interview. Everything seemed to go well, and I was informed that an offer was forthcoming. However, after two weeks, I still hadn't received the offer letter, despite their responsiveness. I'm not sure what the exact delay was, possibly client approval, but they shouldn't have said an offer was coming if they weren't going to deliver it after two weeks of saying so.
- Can you share an example of a successful strategy implementation you were involved in?
Administrative Assistant
Got a call from a recruiter who talked about the job, where it was, and how much it paid. Then, my resume went to the person I'd be working for. The recruiter said I'd hear back Friday or Monday. The recruiter was friendly and direct. On Monday, the interviewer called and mostly talked about the job. They asked about my career plans and if I liked IT. They didn't ask much about my skills for the job, it felt more like a fit check for my goals. The interviewer ended by saying I might be too good for the role and better suited elsewhere, then passed my resume to the head of another department.
