The CEO reached out to me by phone, and that conversation went really well. I then met with three women later that week, and those interviews also went great. Towards the end, they mentioned sending over an email about benefits. As I was leaving, the manager surprisingly asked about my expected salary, even though the CEO already knew. I repeated my salary expectation, and that was the end of that discussion. Three days went by with no email, so I followed up with the CEO. He confirmed that no decision had been made yet. It's now been three months with no further communication, which is frustrating since I've since accepted another position and am happy with it, but the lack of basic respect in not receiving an update bothers me.

I got a call from a recruiter who didn't have any phone etiquette. Like, why can't recruiters introduce themselves first? When you call someone, you should say, "This is [YOUR NAME], may I speak to [THEIR NAME]?" It's not that hard. Then this guy says he has my resume and asks if I have any experience. Did he even read it? It's insulting. These recruiters are in sales and should be selling their company better. This level of incompetence is everywhere in the contract travel industry because they aren't hiring professionals to represent you. LRS Healthcare won't represent you or the client well. Stay away from them. They aren't a good company.

The recruiter started by asking me to talk about myself. After I responded, she just said, “Okay, perfect. Do you have any questions for me?” and that was the end of it. There were no follow-ups or real discussion, and nothing about my background. The entire call lasted about 10 minutes, and I didn’t advance. It felt like she had already decided and just wanted to finish the call quickly. It’s annoying because how can anyone get to know you (or evaluate you fairly) with just one generic question and so little time?

I was told when they would call for the phone interview and who I would speak with. They reviewed my resume. They asked me about my recent critical care experience and my flexibility with staff, hours, and assignments. We reviewed protocols and they obtained my references. It was a pretty straightforward process overall.
