The interview process was pretty standard. I went through two interviews, each about thirty minutes long, conducted on campus. One was with a manager, and the other was with someone from HR. I also had to complete a writing assignment, a narrative, to assess my writing skills.

I applied online and got an email to set up a phone interview. It was with one person who asked basic screening questions about whether I met the requirements and had the experience for the job. Then, I had a Skype interview with 2 hiring managers. This one involved talking about my background and experience, and why I wanted to work for LRA. Definitely research the company beforehand, they'll expect you to know about it. The interviews were pretty casual and asked basic stuff, not really behavioral questions. I thought it was an easy interview.

The initial phone screening was rescheduled three times. First reschedule: day before, something came up. Second reschedule: morning of, something came up. Third reschedule: no call at scheduled time, they emailed back saying 'phone call all day'. Fourth attempt was successful. Then I was invited for an in-person interview. The day before that, I was told it was postponed. I'm from Pittsburgh and had taken a day off to drive out. I emailed to reschedule and heard nothing for a month. I got an email a month later about rescheduling. I happened to be going to Philadelphia the coming weekend anyway, so I scheduled for the Monday after that. The interviewer/potential boss was half an hour late. I followed up by email and was told I would hear about a decision 'by next week'. Still heard nothing. Most unprofessional.

The interview process began with a 30-minute phone screen, followed by a one-page writing sample. Next, there was a one-hour video interview with an operations manager, and the process concluded with a 30-minute phone interview with a senior operations manager. The whole thing took a little over a month. I heard back for the initial phone screen 18 days after applying online. The actual interviews happened over four days, and I got an offer 10 days after that.
