They had 2 rounds and then a decision. First was a screen, and the second was with the person who makes the decisions. They decided to move forward with other candidates, which is their choice, but their email communication was impersonal and standard. This was quite different from the interview itself and from their stated company values.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, and we had a really nice, long chat on the phone. After that, I spoke with the head of digital services, which was also a great call. He asked a lot of questions but also shared tons of info. He then set up a day for me to fly to KC to meet him in person. We met at a coffee shop and talked for about an hour. I got the job offer before I left that day. They're thorough but super nice and friendly, making it easy to relax and enjoy the conversation even though it's an interview.
