I applied online for the Cashier position at Lowe's Foods and got an email to schedule a video interview with Patrick Ryan. The interview itself was very brief, about 5 minutes. Patrick Ryan basically said that since I have extensive customer service experience, I should already understand the role. He mentioned that the next steps would be a second interview with someone named Meghan, followed by a drug test and background check. I was hopeful about moving forward, but I never heard back from anyone. I didn't even receive a rejection notification.

Got an email for an in-person interview. Went there, checked in, and the receptionist led me to the manager's office. He shook my hand, told me to sit, and closed the door. He looked at my resume and asked about my strengths and weaknesses. Even though I had no prior work experience, I stayed confident. He said he was impressed I wasn't nervous and told me to look out for an email in the next few days.

It was an easy phone interview, then a meeting in the store, and a drug test. Should be accessible to anyone without a record. Just answer questions honestly and it'll be fine. No need to dress professionally, just a nice shirt and dark jeans without holes.
