My initial interview was with someone who seemed like an executive assistant, asking AI-generated questions. It felt like they needed the AI to confirm answers. I did move on to a second round with the Chief People Officer, which went well. However, I was informed they use tracking software on their computers, which matches previous comments about this practice. Much of the older feedback seems accurate.

They had a 3 round interview process, starting with the hiring manager, then HR, and finishing with team leaders. It was a pretty simple and straight forward process. Be ready for the interviews to be recorded and for you to discuss how you use AI in your work. All my interviews were remote.

The interview process was pretty quick, but it was an awful experience. It took a week to hear back from them after my first interview and they texted me over the weekend to schedule the next round, which I thought was pretty unprofessional. I had my final interview and the very next day, they called me in the morning to offer me the job. I was excited because I enjoyed meeting everyone on the team and thought it would be a great place to work. However, they began to pressure me to accept the offer on the spot and cancel my other final interview the following day with a different company. They were even grilling me on why I was interested in this other company and told me that “money isn’t everything” referring to me accepting another job with a higher salary. That is incredibly disrespectful to say something like that to a candidate and a totally inaccurate assumption as to why I was keeping my options open. Before we got off the call, they said that the offer expired in 24 hours and they would email the offer letter to me shortly. Hours later I still hadn’t received it. They called me back that evening saying that they have decided to promote someone from within the company, so the position was no longer available and would have to rescind my offer. I was furious because I felt so much pressure to cancel my other prospects since they wanted an answer so quickly. They were very callous and provided no explanation or apology. I was extremely upset how this was handled so I sent a lengthy email to everyone I interviewed with. They responded back and said that they were trying to be proactive and are sorry that I “interpreted it incorrectly.” Not sure how someone can interpret an offer incorrectly.

The first part of the process was a phone screening interview with HR. They have a community hiring board which you interview with about 8 different people within the company so you really get a feel for different roles and responsibilities throughout the departments. It took about 4 hours to meet with each team member. They have the nicest HR Director, who was thoughtful enough to create a full itinerary for your time there. You will even interview with one of the co-founders, which shows how much they care. They really try to find the right person for the job and nurturing their employees to bloom in their positions. I really enjoyed the company culture and positive energy. They are doing things in a really innovative and professional manner that other companies could take note of. I am really disappointed that I did not get an offer, but I did ramble out of nerves -- so try to take time to really think about your answers to their questions. They are all really nice people and want you to succeed.
