The staff were really knowledgeable and experts in what they do, with a passion for supporting public health and safety. It was a good experience overall. The people were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in learning about my background and experience.

Had a quick phone interview to explain what a typical day is as an aerosol lab tech and then set up the actual in-person interview. The hardest part was getting into the place with all the buttons I had to push. I sat in a room and was interviewed by 6 people, 2 at a time. They told me what it would be like, were very nice but went on and on about how I wouldn't have a life (since I'm still in school) and how I'd be the only girl there. They had my resume printed out but didn't even refer to it. I ended up not taking the job because I wouldn't be able to handle watching dogs be experimented on. They also said I would be using a lot of power tools which wasn't mentioned in the job description.

The interview process started with a phone chat with HR. Then, there was an in-person interview with three supervisors. It was interesting because two other people were also being interviewed for the same position at the same time. The whole process from when I interviewed to when I actually started the job took about 6 months, with about 3 months from that initial phone interview to my start date.

This was for a short temporary job. I talked to the recruiter a few times. Then I had a phone interview with management and the person who currently has the position. All the conversations were over the phone. They accurately described the job.
