It was a straightforward 1:1 interview with HR. They were mainly checking if I had good people skills, could communicate well with kids, and had good intentions for working with children.

Applied online and got a call within a week. Had a phone screen with general experience questions and discussion of my career goals. Then invited for an in-person interview. After that, I was invited back for a second in-person interview. Got offered the position the same week. Both in-person interviews were good, meeting three different interviewers each time. Normally I get nervous in interviews, but they made me feel comfortable and excited about working there. It was probably the best interview experience I've had because the interviews were more like conversations than formal questions. I learned about the interviewers and felt a personal connection. I took a tour of the office, saw different departments and staff. The office was spacious, warm, and inviting.

The interview process started with a phone call, which was pretty standard. Then, the very next day, they asked me to come in person. The interviewer was really nice and made me feel comfortable. She presented me with a few different situations involving potential conflicts with kids and coworkers. About three hours after the interview, they called to offer me the job. It felt really fast, but I needed the job, so I accepted right away and started the paperwork. I had to pay for my own livescan ($50-$75) and TB test ($25-$30). There were two days of orientation and they mentioned three days of shadowing another BI for training.

I applied online and heard back a few weeks later. The initial phone interview was really chill and quick! The person I spoke with was super nice and easy to talk to, which was great. They asked for my availability for an in-person interview, so I guess that means I passed the first part. The in-person interview was also pretty laid-back. They'll ask you about your past work and some other standard interview questions.

  • Can you share your previous relevant experiences and your understanding of ABA?
