Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LotusWorks.
Technician
Interview was split into two parts: first a phone screen, then an in-person interview where they asked technical questions. The questions were about basic instrumentation, calibration, dissolved oxygen, and shift work.
- Basic instrumentation questions about temp, flow, level
- How would you calibrate an instrument?
- Questions about dissolved oxygen
Calibration Technician
The interview was pretty chill, I got to meet the site lead and the contract manager. They started by asking what I knew about the company, then moved on to technical questions, and finally competency questions. It was a good experience overall, the interviewers made me feel comfortable and were helpful.
- Could you tell me what you know about our company?
- Can you explain how to calibrate a PH probe?
- What is the process for calibrating a temperature probe?
Calibration Technician
The technical questions asked are standard ones that have been used for a long time and don't really test the candidate's individual skills. The interview process could be improved by making it more robust and thorough with new, scenario-based questions. Overall, it was a good interview but needs updated questions.
- Tell me about flowmeters.
- Tell me about level measurement.
- Tell me about temperature measurement.
