After submitting my application on Indeed, I had a Zoom screening. The next step was the final round, which was onsite. Although no offer was extended, the experience was generally positive.

Behavioral Technical

It was a VERY long interview process, spanning about 3-4 weeks. First, I had phone interviews with three people from the marketing team. Then, there was a 4-hour in-person interview where I met with 7 different people. The phone interviews felt pretty casual, but the in-person one was more about digging into my capabilities. I thought it might make more sense to assess capabilities first, then have the in-person be more about personality and fit.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, there was a screening call with HR. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. The final step was an in-person interview at their headquarters in Maryland. It was a pretty standard process, and the atmosphere was really relaxed, so there wasn't much pressure during the interview. It was actually great. We did some brainstorming and a deep dive into both my past products and their current products. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Behavioral Technical

I got contacted on LinkedIn by the HR Director about a potential job, which felt like a more senior role given the initial message and our first phone chat. After that, an Operations Lead reached out to set up an in-person interview at their NY office, and that's when I learned the specific job title. We scheduled it, and she sent over an agenda for about 3.5 hours with 6 interviewers, one of whom was the HR Director I'd already spoken to. While in the office, I found out two of the interviewers were remote and I'd be talking to them on the phone. It was a bit odd to have so many back-to-back interviews scheduled in person when some could have been done over the phone. That aside, everyone was really nice and helpful, and I generally enjoyed the conversations. The company culture seemed really positive, though the Marketing folks appeared a bit overloaded. The main hurdle was answering the same questions repeatedly for different interviewers and coming up with new, thoughtful questions that hadn't already been covered.
