First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LoSasso Integrated Marketing.
Intern
After submitting my resume online and chatting via email with the HR manager, I was invited for an interview. It felt pretty relaxed, like a mix of checking my personality and seeing what skills I had. The HR manager had obviously looked over my resume beforehand and came prepared. They gave me a tour of the office. Even though I was told I'd meet with others, I only spoke with the HR manager. We didn't go into much detail about the specific role or my duties, as that would be figured out later if an offer was made. I received an offer soon after the interview, very quickly.
- What age range do you enjoy working with?
- What made you interested in LoSasso?
- What led you to discover our company?
Account Executive
I applied for the Account Executive job on LinkedIn on Oct 27. The HR manager at LoSasso contacted me on Oct 29 for an in-person interview. I went to their office on Nov 4 for a first discussion. They didn't give me an itinerary or tell me who I'd meet. The interview was mostly about my personality and fit for the role, not many details about the job itself. They talked about the agency, its culture, and a bit about the client. I didn't meet the hiring manager and my job-specific questions weren't answered. They said they'd let me know the hiring manager's schedule for a second interview. On Nov 7, I got an email saying they weren't proceeding with second round interviews as they found a suitable candidate quickly.
- Which age group do you prefer to work with?
Media Director
You can tell a lot about a company by its hiring process. LoSasso had the most comprehensive process I've been through. As a professional with perspective, I appreciated it. This company clearly understands hiring AND retention. The last Fortune 500 I was with analyzed the cost of turnover- and it is extremely expensive and disruptive. In an industry of constant churn- especially post pandemic- they are well positioned and insulated from the flight other agencies are being hit (hard) with.
- Be prepared for the questions if it is a good fit.
Front-End Web Developer
The interview process was pretty good. First, I talked to the department supervisor, which was a nice chat with someone in development. Then, they sent me a Photoshop file and I had to re-create it using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. For the final interview, I talked with the Lead Developer, the Supervisor, and the VP. Everyone was super nice, especially the VP. After that, they gave me a tour of the office.
- Were you previously involved in projects that used Bootstrap?
- Can you describe your experience using Bootstrap?
