Manager
The interview process was super smooth and straightforward. It was great talking to someone who actually knew the role and the industry. If there's mutual interest, things can speed up, and that's exactly what happened.
- Could you share some details about yourself and discuss how your previous experience is relevant?
- Tell me about your background and how it relates to this position.
Growth Hacking Manager
The interview process was really grueling, lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes. Some interviewers were great, transparent, and honest. One person mentioned subscriber numbers are falling and the future looks uncertain, which was concerning given the massive workload of constantly uploading FB ads across many products. This could mean working 55 hours a week. Another interviewer was quite annoying, bragging about past prestigious companies and platforms he knew, rather than applying his knowledge to help increase subscribers. He talked non-stop about analytics and processes. The office itself is awful, like a dirty warehouse storage unit needing remodeling. They also seem to be laying off people based on recent reviews. Be prepared for constant massive FB campaign creation.
- Can you explain your process for setting up Facebook campaigns?
- Describe how you structure your Google campaigns.
- What's your method for assessing if creative assets are effective?
Creative Lead
I got a call asking if I had a portfolio website. They said they'd call back Monday, but they didn't. I called them Tuesday and they were really dismissive, acting like they'd never talked to me. A few days later, they called back and wanted me to come in for a group/panel interview. They kind of pushed me to do it that day, making it seem like a big hassle if I couldn't. When I got there, I went through three rounds with 1-2 people each. Nobody seemed sure what to ask, just if I had licensing experience. They also admitted the online job description was wrong and the role was very different than advertised. They didn't try to sell the job at all, which made asking about perks and benefits feel like pulling teeth. Instead, they focused on how fast-paced and stressful it could be. I asked about the layoffs, and the answers were all over the place – some brushed it off, said 'it happens,' blamed Glassdoor reviewers, or mentioned the CEO was working on it, but nobody knew what the solution was. After the interviews, they told me to send more questions. I emailed thank yous and my questions the next day, but never heard back. I followed up a week later, still no response. They ghosted me, so I guess I'm relieved I didn't get an offer. Definitely trust the Glassdoor reviews.
- Have you worked with licensors before?
People Operations Coordinator
The interview process was very relaxed and personal, not stiff at all. I got a tour and talked to my manager and some other potential teammates. It felt more like a chat, and it helped us all see if I was a good fit for the company and its culture.
- What are you passionate about?
