The interview process was really well put together and professional. We talked a lot about my background in AdTech, how I've worked with partners, and looking at performance data. The folks interviewing me were nice and asked some good questions that let me show how I tackle problems and manage partnerships.

The hiring process was straightforward. After a chat with HR, I was set up for a technical interview. It followed the typical structure: intros, a discussion about my background, and then technical questions and problem-solving tasks. While I liked the technical parts and sharing experiences, one interviewer's negative attitude really soured things. The conversation became passive-aggressive, more about challenging me than discussing ideas or offering feedback. Out of about 20 interviews I had then, this one was the most draining, making me worried about a toxic team environment, so I decided to pull out.

The interview started with a brief and adequate call with the initial talent team. Following this, the interview with the hiring manager and a team member was quite unstructured and poorly executed. Unexpectedly, an Excel test was given at the end of the call, with the requirement to complete and return it within 15 minutes. This was after the call had already run over by 10 minutes, and I hadn't been given time to ask questions about the role or company. Consequently, I had to reschedule another meeting. After submitting the test with additional comments, I received no further communication, not even a rejection notice with feedback. It felt as though the decision was already made, and other candidates were not informed of their status. This was a very negative experience, but it did highlight potential organizational issues.

The interview started with a phone call, followed by an in-person meeting with the Chief Data Scientist and the team. They made an offer which I accepted. However, the company rescinded the offer due to funding issues. The phone call was very last minute, and they didn't even apologize. Because of this, I had to turn down another job offer and was left in a really uncertain situation (I'm a visa national, so this is risky). Fast forward a few months, and it seems they got funding again because the same recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for a Python Developer role, saying they have funding and think I'd be a good fit. When I replied to the person who called me, I got no response. I've worked in many places, including startups, but this is by far the most chaotic interview experience I've ever had. It’s as bad as it gets. If you're considering applying, be aware of the potential negative consequences.
