I had a panel interview with six staff members. They asked questions mostly about my experience. The questions felt a bit robotic, and it didn't seem like they had read my resume or knew who I was.

Submitted an application online, then had a phone interview. This was followed by an on-campus visit which included several interviews with the dean, department chair, search committee members, and other faculty. I was asked to teach a lesson on a given topic. During the visit, I also met with current students both formally and informally. Human resources discussed benefits, and I received a campus and local area tour.

First off, there was a phone chat in both English and Spanish. They wanted to know about my teaching ideas and methods, and also check how good I am at both languages. Then, they had me teach a class for intermediate students and watched me. After that, we toured the campus and I had lunch with them in the school cafeteria. They were really nice and made me feel welcome!
