the recruiter was 10 minutes late calling me for the phone screen so I reached out over email. On the call they just read off a list of deal breaker questions. They wanted mainly hands-on systems admin and technical support experience contrary to the job description emphasizing more analysis and project work. Was told they would get back to me the following week after they decided which candidates they wanted to move forward with. I checked my application in the ATS system and it had already been switched to no longer under consideration right after the call.

I interviewed for an RN role at Longevity Health Plan and had a positive initial experience with the senior recruiter. I was told my experience perfectly matched the job requirements, was quoted a salary, and told to expect an email with next steps within 24-48 hours. However, I never received any follow-up despite reaching out to the recruiter directly. Ghosting candidates after an interview is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the organization. A simple update, even if they identified a more suitable candidate, would have been appreciated. I hope this growing organization reviews its hiring practices to prevent others from having a similar experience.

The interview was easy but a bit boring. There were two women. They went into detail about the role, benefits, facility, my responsibilities, how day-to-day operations work, productivity expectations, and vacation time. One interviewer seemed disengaged pretty quickly. We also talked about communication with nursing and the facility.

I spoke with the recruiter first. Then I was referred to the department manager for a 45-minute interview. After that, I spoke with the Chief Nursing Officer and VP for about 30 minutes. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.
