First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Long View Systems.
IT Support Technician
It's a two-stage interview. First, a quick 15–30 minute prescreening via phone or video to check your experience, if you're a good fit, your availability, what you expect salary-wise, and some basic problem-solving. Then, a more involved 60–90 minute practical test. This could be a live coding session or a take-home assignment that you'll walk through. It's all about seeing your technical skills, how you test things, optimize, approach problems, and communicate. They'll also give you feedback and tell you the next steps at the end.

System Analyst
The interview process was online and straightforward, but they were a bit vague about the job description, responsibilities, and tasks. As it's an MSP, expect general statements rather than specifics about the role.
- Can you share your experience?
- Do you have general IT knowledge?
- How would you handle T1 support, and how would this differ from a phone-based role?
Project Coordinator
I had a phone screen with the recruiter first. Then I interviewed with the PM and Project Owner. I got an offer pretty quickly, like within a few days, with a start date about 2 weeks out. But then, right before I was supposed to start, they kept pushing it back every few days for about 3 weeks. They kept saying there were system issues that needed fixing. After all that pushing, they finally said funding had dried up and there was no start for me. To top it off, they asked me to pay for corporation setup and get a license specifically for the project, none of which they reimbursed, and it cost me almost $500.
- How would you handle difficult clients who resist change?
Corporate Recruiter
Great experience, extremely professional and constant follow up/communication with the candidate. Discussions were mainly focused on experience, company culture and personality questions. They try to get as a person, not only skills wise. Recruitment steps: 1 - Phone screen 2 - On site interview - Line Manager & video conference with another team member 3 - On site interview with the Recruiter leaving the role 4 - On site interview - 1:1 Line Manager 30' VP People Culture 30' Process got more extended than expected, before a decision was taken, however experience was a positive one!
- Can you tell me about yourself and walk me through your experience?
- What is your understanding of LVS?
- What are the core values of LVS?
