It was pretty chill and straightforward, pretty much what you'd expect in this field. They actually offer paid training for new sales hires, which is pretty uncommon; most places just give you a bunch of stuff to read without any real guidance.

I found the job on Career Builder and got a call from the company about my resume. They wanted me to come in for an interview at their home office in Beltsville, which I think I did great on. After that, I met the sales manager and the team I would be working with, and then they invited me back for a group intro for all the new hires across different departments. We got the usual talk about commissions and competitions and stuff.

The recruiter hit me up on Indeed.com and we scheduled an interview. It quickly felt like they were more interested in getting free ideas for their problems than actually interviewing. I noticed they only took notes when they were getting those ideas. I still kept it professional, though. After that, I never heard back, which was pretty unprofessional.

I had an interview with HR and then with an area manager. The HR interview went really well and was very detailed, giving me great information about the company. The interview with the Regional Manager focused on my selling style.
