Got an email to set up a phone interview for the role. The phone interview felt really rushed and like the interviewer wasn't really interested in my experience or any questions I had. It felt like they were just going through the motions. If you've already decided on a candidate, please don't waste other people's time.

The interview process was really fast. They asked typical questions, and then it turned into more of a personality and culture fit check. I was surprised by how long most employees have been there. It's pretty unusual these days to see people hitting 20 or 30 year milestones with a company, so that was really encouraging. It suggested people actually like working there, meaning supporting them wouldn't be bad because they don't hate their jobs. We talked as much about what I needed and wanted from an employer as we did about what I could do for them. That's what really sealed the deal for me.

Applied online and then I got an email from HR within 2-3 days to schedule a phone interview. After that, I was told I'd hear back within a week about an in-person interview, but it actually took about 5 weeks to get an email saying I was overqualified.

I think the interview process at Long is both good and not so good. The 2-round process works well. Managers usually ask about skills, attitude, and character in the first interview. The second interview covers start time and salary. The BAD thing is it sometimes takes too long, and many good people don't get hired.
