Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at London Consulting Group.
Consultor
First there was a call to ask me about my background and previous experience. Then it was filling out a form and taking psychometric tests. Then there would be a competency interview where HR agents would ask me more psychometric questions and about my background. The last one would be a business case call where they give you 1 week or less to develop a case with some questions and defend it in 15 min. The times between each step and their notification vary a lot from what they originally mention, a process that they said would last 1 month became 2 months until they notify you if you get in or not.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict and how you resolved it.
Business Consultant
First, they reviewed my resume and had an initial interview to learn more about my background. After passing that, I took some personal skills tests. Finally, I was given a business case to solve and present my findings.

Management Consultant
This was the worst interview process I have ever had the misfortune to go through in my 30 years of work experience across the globe. The company shares an office with two other companies. We were ushered into the waiting area which was open plan with people walking in and out.I arrived five minutes late for my interview..and informed them an hour in advance that this would happen.I need not have bothered as they were running over time and I waited for a whole hour!Only to be interviewed for an events position that I was not interested in! The customer service for this company was horrible..any inquiry into lateness was met with a rude response.A lot of young pretty girls in high heels is not going to attract serious female corporate management. My interviewer..albeit ten minutes...I could not commit to more as I was running late for a coaching appointment.
