Quantitative Developer Intern
I got an email from the university about this opening, and after I sent my CV, I heard back two months later for an interview. It was about an hour long. They asked about my background and how I'd approach analyzing long-term increasing market data. There were also some probability distribution questions and basic questions about coding, like how Python, R, or C++ work.
- How would you forecast a company's future carbon emissions based on its current emission data?
Technical Sales Representative
The interview had 3 stages, all conducted remotely, in both English and French. The first two interviews, with HR and the hiring manager, were relaxed and comfortable. However, the final interview with the team was designed to be destabilizing.

Production Engineer
I was invited for a technical interview. I confirmed my attendance via their invitation but had to call them twice to schedule the actual date. The director started by presenting the company while looking at his screen. Then, I was asked about projects I had worked on. They told me the interview went well and they'd get back to me soon. Two weeks later, I emailed to ask for an update, but it's been three months with no response. From setting the date to the interview itself and then waiting for results, nothing felt professional. I don't think I'll ever apply here again.
- Can you compare Github Actions and Bitbucket Pipelines?
- Could you explain what reverse SSH is?
Compliance Officer
I had a call with HR, then met the team where I was interviewed by three people together. Ultimately, I was rejected. I think employers should give honest feedback instead of leaving us guessing. 'We decided to go for a candidate better suited for the role' - how and in what regard? Is there anything I could have done to improve my chances? Since we all invest time in the process and companies 'invest in people', it would be great to get some honest feedback. They were all very nice, professional, and punctual, the offices were beautiful, and the role was explained in detail. It looked like a nice place to work. Thanks.
