First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lolli and Pops.
Sales Associate
Since the store was just opening, it was an open interview where the district manager was interviewing anyone who stopped by. Some people scheduled appointments beforehand, which seemed to give them an advantage. I had to fill out an application on the spot since there were no online applications at the time. It asked for basic info and had a place for a resume. The interview was pretty standard, and it's good to know about the company. The interviewer was friendly and didn't rush me. I got a call a few days later saying I got the job.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What type of work environment are you looking for?
- If you had to describe yourself in three words, how would your friends describe you?
Sales Associate
It was a pretty laid-back interview. We just met up outside the store. I was a bit nervous to start, but I loosened up as we talked. Both people interviewing me were really nice and let me take my time to think before I answered anything.
- Tell me more about what's on your resume.
- What's your favorite candy and why?
- Can you try to sell me a product?
Retail Sales Associate
The interviewer was friendly and professional. Questions were clear and relevant to the role. Environment was relaxed. Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience. Looking forward to next steps.
