First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LogicManager.
Software Engineer
I had a telephonic conversation that lasted 25 mins about my previous experiences, HR Questions and visa status. Then there was an aptitude and logical reasoning test. Following that, a Zoom interview focused on technical questions. Finally, a Zoom interview with the CEO. I've framed these points for better understanding, but the process itself wasn't clear at all. They seemed unsure about their requirements. It felt like a waste of two weeks. I'd advise staying away from such interview processes as it can lower your confidence.
- Can you explain OOPS concepts?
- What are your thoughts on Linux programming?
Software Engineer
HR reached out after seeing my LinkedIn, and we had an initial screening call. Later that day, I spoke with the tech hiring manager, who asked about my background and reasons for using certain technologies. Then came a coding task involving React and a REST API. The on-site interview was about a week later. Communication from HR was a bit rough; I had to chase them for details and directions the day before. The on-site itself was intense: four rounds over three hours. First, an application architect had me whiteboard a project's architecture and explain design decisions, finishing with a simple math problem. Next, two developers hit me with rapid-fire JavaScript questions, scrutinizing my answers. The third round, with a senior dev and the QA lead, focused on past experience, Agile, and best practices. The final round with the hiring manager/VP involved another project whiteboard and a consulting-style critical thinking problem. The on-site was enjoyable despite the intensity, as the team seemed friendly and eager to learn. Post-interview communication could be better; the uncertainty nearly made me accept another offer before LogicManager's offer came through, which I accepted.
- Tell me about a short math problem.
- What were the fundamentals of JavaScript asked?
- Were there any React/Redux technical questions?
Software Engineer
Showed up 20 mins early but was seated 45 mins after my scheduled time, which felt disorganized. Couldn't get clear answers to my questions. Despite the hiccups, the interview went okay. Haven't heard back and my follow-up emails haven't been answered.
- Can you walk me through the software development lifecycle for a brand new product?
