First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Logan Aluminum.
Mechanical Engineer Intern
It was a pretty chill and direct interview process. The people interviewing me were really nice and easy to talk to. They focused more on getting to know you as a person outside of work to see if you'd be a good cultural fit.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced a challenge outside of your work or studies?
Software Engineer
I got some free lunch on-site before the interview started. I met the people I'd be working with and they asked me some general behavioral questions. No technical or coding questions were expected to be solved live. We discussed my programming background and projects. After the interview, I toured the facility with the team. It was nice, but I didn't get an offer and HR never got back to me about my application status.
- Describe a situation where you encountered a conflict with a colleague.
Product Metallurgist
The interview process was really fast and professional. After meeting them at a hiring fair, I had my interview and onsite visit all within two weeks. Their facility was really nice, and I was pretty impressed with how they run things.
- Could you share a unique quality you possess that would be advantageous for this role?
Intern
The interview process was very friendly and informal. They focused on personality and how well I would adapt to the team. The interviewers included HR and the team leader of the area I was applying for.
- Tell me about your major.
- Tell me about your school.
