Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

Went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first round involved 1-on-1 chats with two associates and one VP from the team where we discussed my background and past transactions. The second round was with two senior directors, focusing more on fit and a deep dive into my work history. The final round was a case study where I had to pitch an investment idea to the entire team. I had a weekend to analyze the potential investment, build a model, and understand the business thoroughly, then present a 5-page recommendation. The team grilled me for an hour during the presentation, but my recommendation wasn't aligned with their views, so no offer.

The hiring process was pretty standard and lasted roughly two months. The recruiter was on top of things and kept me updated throughout. I applied via the company website and after three weeks, the recruiter reached out. We had a brief chat about the position, and they asked about my skills and career aspirations. Next, I interviewed with the hiring manager and a network architect. This 1-hour+ session covered my experience and future goals, and included technical questions. A week later, I had three more interviews with senior managers from different IT departments and the head of IT. The day after these interviews, the recruiter discussed salary expectations with me. The offer came the next day.

I applied online and the recruiter passed my resume along. Then I was invited for an interview, which was a group panel. They showed me around the office, gave me their business cards right away in case I had any questions and said I could call at any time, and introduced me to everybody.

Behavioral Technical

It's a multi-stage interview process where you'll meet with HR, then a Senior, then a Manager, then a Director, and if you're fortunate, the VP. It can get quite overwhelming speaking with each person, so make sure to ask for water and a restroom break to help maintain your composure. Plan to be there for about 2-3 hours.
