applied online, recruiter reached out. Had a recruiter phone call with standard behavioral questions. Then an hour-long interview with the Engineering Manager. The manager asked about my current and past experience, and went deep into my work. They said I'm in the early stages and I'll hear back in a few weeks. It's been over 2 months, and when I email the recruiter for an update, I get the same copy-pasted response about 'currently reviewing all resumes'. Very unprofessional, no courtesy to inform candidates about the hiring decision. My advice, don't waste your time interviewing with this company.

My interview was set for 7:30am with the CMO, which worked for me as a morning person, but she was 45 minutes late. She didn't bring any notes or business cards, seemed uninterested in my answers, and kept checking her phone. Based on my research, she seems to favor hiring females (6 females to 1 male, and that male was in app development which is very male-dominated, so it's likely only males applied). Not only did she waste my time by being late, but the whole interview felt like she'd already made up her mind. I did meet some other employees while waiting, and they were incredibly nice and welcoming.

First, I talked to the CFO. He told me about the company and his plans for the team. He asked if I was willing to relocate, and I said I'd consider it. We talked about my consulting background and how it was always changing. He then set up a meeting for me the next day with the Controller. We clicked right away. She asked me about my experience in audit, fixed assets, GL, and management. She also asked if I'd be interested in an Accounting Manager role instead.

It was a multi-step interview process involving different departments. It started with a phone call, then an interview with the event team, followed by a meeting with the marketing manager. The whole process felt disorganized and slow, requiring me to follow up after each stage. It seemed like the position wasn't a high priority for them.
