Behavioral Case

My interview process involved three meetings spread across three weeks. It started with a Teams call with the HR manager, then a second meeting with the Sales and Operations Managers. The final interview was with the Director of Sales, Director of HR, and the CEO. All of these were pretty relaxed and felt like getting to know each other, where we talked about my past experience and how it would fit the role. The job itself is heavily focused on cold-calling and going door-to-door in a specific territory. It might not be for everyone, but it seems like there's good earning potential once you get past the initial business development phase.

So first I spoke with HR about the job, then I had a second interview with the CTO. The first interview was remote, the second was in person. I mentioned my salary expectations to HR, but they said they couldn't match it. The CTO was cagey about their systems and accused me of trying to snoop or come in and change things. The job description said Voice Engineer, but it was really just for data entry in their PBX.

Technical Behavioral

They pull you in for one interview. Its an onsite technical assessment where you do a lab and follow the directions of the script but you need to have basic knowledge of what to do. Then there is a second interview to meet with two senior leadership. They will basically ask the same questions which is monotonous. They will ask you questions around your disability asking if you can do the job best not disclose that because it came the central part of the interview even though I told them I was okay.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard for these types of jobs. They asked about basic things and my past experiences that were relevant to the role. What I really didn't like was how sarcastic the interviewer was. I was already nervous and sometimes got stuck on questions, and her sarcasm made me feel like an idiot, making it even harder to finish the interview. In the end, she said she'd let me know about moving forward, but her facial expression and sarcasm made it clear it was a no. I never heard back from them, which was really unprofessional. I hope nobody else has to go through an interview process like this.
