First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LoanMe.
Legal Clerk
The interview process was straightforward, and I received an offer within a few days. The onboarding process was also quite simple, and I really enjoyed my supervisor. I got the offer, accepted it, and loved my department.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
Loan Agent
It was a quick interview, they seem to be eager to get people on the phone right away. They asked some basic questions about my previous jobs and the types of experience I have. They also asked about my punctuality at work and my ability to collaborate with others, especially in an open office setting.
- Could you discuss your previous work history, specifically any loan or sales experience you may have?
- Regarding your loan experience, what kinds of loan products have you dealt with, and please elaborate on your record for punctuality?
- Can you describe your experience working with colleagues and in an open workspace environment?
Recruiter
The Training Director was really nice, but the questions felt pretty standard and went on for a while. The interview questions were the usual structured kind that basically just go over what's on my resume. A good interview should actually help you figure out what the candidate will contribute to the team and if they're a good fit. The interviewer "promised" I'd hear back by the next Monday or Tuesday, no matter what. Sadly, no one has gotten back to me at all. Communication is super important for building a good team, so this whole bad-candidate-experience, with the lack of communication, just shows a lack of professionalism and business courtesy, which makes the company look bad.
- Can you tell me about your recent experience?
- How would your skills and experiences help our company achieve value, growth, and success?
Trainer
It was a very positive and easy interview. The questions asked were appropriate for the job I was interviewing for. There was no excessive wait time before I met with my interviewers.
- Tell me about a time you had a problem with a leader.
