Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Loadsmart.
Software Engineer
The interview had 4 parts. First, a quick chat with the recruiter about you and your experience - pretty much a pass unless you're really underqualified. Then, a coding test on HackerRank, 3 hours for 4 questions, mostly straightforward stuff. Next, an application design interview where you have to map out the architecture for a dashboard and mobile app, covering data flow and external API interactions. Finally, a cultural fit chat with some behavioral questions to see how you'd handle various scenarios.

- Write a Python function to fetch data from an API and process it, considering time complexity.
Software Engineer
First, there's a chat with someone from HR. They'll ask about your work history, what salary you're looking for, and tell you about the company. Then, there are stages with technical tests and more chats with people from the company.
- Complete a Django function knowing its purpose
- Implement Python algorithms, given a statement
Senior Software Engineer
First, I had a chat with the recruiter. Then, I did a live coding session where I paired with two engineers, which was cool because it simulated the actual project. They asked if I could make any changes. After that, I spoke with the manager.
- Can you describe your past work experiences?
- What's motivating your job search?
