First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LMG.
Purchasing Agent
The interview process was pretty standard. It was an in-person meeting with just one person, the Director of Procurement/Purchasing. The whole thing took less than an hour. They asked questions like "walk me through your resume" and "what is your negotiation experience?"
- Can you tell me about your negotiation experience?
Technician
The interview process was straightforward. I had several video calls. All my interviewers were friendly, which made the process much less intimidating. The second interview was scheduled quickly. I even had some technical difficulties with my video during one interview, and they were very understanding.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
Show Services Supervisor
I applied for the Show Services Supervisor job and got a call back after 2 days. I had a face-to-face interview with 2 managers in the department. It was pretty basic, with standard interview questions. I felt good about it and was told I'd hear back by the end of the week. But, HR called that same week to say they went with someone internal. I was bummed since I'd done a lot of research and even used PTO for the interview. Then, they asked me to interview for the Show Assistant role. I went for it, thinking I had a good shot after the first interview. After the face-to-face, HR called and wanted me to meet the Senior Account Executive I'd be working with. That interview also felt good, and I was told HR would call by the end of the week again. It was a Wednesday, I followed up that Friday, and they said they decided not to move forward with hiring for the Show Assistant role! I did all this interviewing, researching, practicing, and taking time off, only for them to cancel the role. Worst interview ever. They called me in a few times just to end the position or put hiring on hold. I wouldn't recommend this company.
- Tell me about projects you have worked on.
- What operating systems are you familiar with?
- How do you manage stress?
Marketing
The interview process was friendly, nice, and engaging. I interviewed with three people from different departments. The questions asked were reasonable. The corporate office is beautiful, and the company is expanding in Orlando, Florida, with locations all over the US. My role would involve overseeing touring, integration, and conference audio visual equipment.
