I had an initial phone chat with the HR manager, where she asked about basic qualifications, why I'm interested in this role, and my commute. The first real interview was a Zoom call with another CRC, who was really nice and mainly asked behavioral questions and why I wanted to join. The second Zoom interview was with the CRC manager, who also focused on behavioral questions and didn't get too technical. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer because I lacked sufficient experience with the patient-facing side of clinical research, but if you have that, you should be good. Honestly, it felt like a lot of steps for an entry-level job, and HR was super slow with the decision.

Applied online and immediately received a phone interview the next day with HR. It was efficient, gave a good overview of the role and company, and screened for basic qualifications and values. A few days later, I had an in-person interview. They were flexible enough to schedule me in early morning to fit my other commitments. The in-person interview was with two people and mainly focused on values and working style to ensure I'd fit into the company culture and could handle the workload well. They are open to hiring new grads with no formal work experience and developing them within the company.

The candidate was punctual for the interview. I didn't have to wait long before they were brought to the interview room. They were very pleasant and introduced themselves first. I was asked to follow them from the waiting area to the interview room. We began by discussing their background and what they hoped to gain from the role if hired. I shared my interest in the company's work in diabetes research and care, and my enthusiasm for joining the team, noting my prior experience in a similar field. The interview was brief, around 30 minutes, but very informative. We talked about how the business is structured and discussed the potential role I might have within the clinic.

The interview process involved a phone call and then an in-person meeting. The in-person interview went really well, and the interviewer was nice. During the phone interview, they asked about my previous jobs and experience and when I could start. The person I met in person was also friendly and asked the typical questions, nothing too technical.
