It started with a phone/video screening, then we had an in-person meeting. They really focused on customer service, teamwork, problem-solving, and if I understood the role and pharmacy values. They asked things like how I'd deal with tough customers, about being reliable, and my career aspirations. They said to have examples ready for competency questions and to look up LloydsPharmacy to show I'm committed and match their ethics. The whole process felt pretty positive and straightforward, just checking if I'd fit in personality-wise and had the skills.

Behavioral Technical

the interview process for the Boots Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser role usually starts with an online application and sometimes a situational judgment test. If they like your application, you might get called in for an interview with the Pharmacy or Store Manager. They want to see how good you are with customers, how you handle prescriptions, if you can work well with others, and how you solve problems.

First you apply, then they check your application and might call you. After that, you have an interview, maybe an assessment too. Then they might follow up with feedback or next steps. If they want to hire you, they'll make an offer and then you do the hiring paperwork.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process was pretty bad and not very professional. The initial phone call was alright and I got asked back pretty quickly for a one-on-one with the hiring manager, which was also fine. But things really went downhill when they asked me to do a task and then present it back, along with more interview questions. It was super obvious that two out of the three interviewers were texting while I was presenting and answering questions. They were constantly smirking and even laughed out loud, which was really unprofessional. The extra questions they asked on top seemed like they were just fishing for website ideas instead of actually looking to hire. I never heard back about whether I got the job or not, which is always a bad sign. Needless to say, I didn't bother following up because I wouldn't want to work with people who think it's okay to make someone feel uncomfortable during an interview.
