First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lloyd Group.
Customer Service Representative
We start with an online application and submitting your CV and cover letter. Then there's an eligibility check. The assessment stages include online tests for numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning. You'll also do a pre-recorded video interview. The interview types cover competency-based questions about your past experiences, strengths-based questions about your natural talents, and case study interviews to see how you solve problems and make decisions.
- Can you list the products and services offered by Lloyd's Bank?
IT Help Desk Analyst
I was contacted and had a phone interview in early January, but my first in-person interview wasn't until late February. The first interview had 3 people, all via Skype even though I was at their office. I was invited for a second interview at the end of March. In the second interview, I spoke with 6 or 7 more people, and they asked mostly the same questions, so I basically repeated my answers to everyone. After all that, I was told I wouldn't be brought back for a third interview. When I asked for feedback on whether it was a skill or culture fit issue, I never heard back.
- Can you explain what DNS is?
- Could you tell me what DHCP is?
- What exactly is a firewall?
NOC Analyst
The interview process kicked off with a 15-minute phone call where they asked really relevant questions, and I felt super comfortable. About a week later, I was invited for an in-person interview. This second round involved two department heads from Lloyd Group and an HR person asking me a variety of questions. I felt really good during this part too; they were nice and respectful and asked interesting questions that I think showed my personality well.
- Tell me about your weaknesses.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself being?
- What unique value do you offer to our company?
Technology Center Internship
I applied via my college's career site and got a call from HR for a 20-minute general chat. Then I was invited on-site. Once I got there, I had to wait for 3 hours, being moved around different rooms. Eventually, an interviewer met me who clearly hadn't reviewed my resume. He asked me to talk about myself, but didn't really ask interview questions and left after 7-8 minutes. I then waited another 45 minutes in another room for the 2nd interviewer, who asked general behavioral questions but also didn't seem to take it seriously. It was a very disappointing experience, and I'm not sure if it was because it was just an internship or because I'm a young woman. Especially for a company that's supposed to be a great place to work.
- Given a worksheet, describe how you would resolve an IT issue.
