I applied online and got a quick 10-min phone screen where they wanted to hear an upbeat and energetic vibe. A few days later, I went in for a short in-person interview with a few other people. I met Eddie, the President/Office Manager, for maybe 10-15 minutes. It was pretty chill; he asked about my past jobs, why I left, and what I'm seeking. He's really looking for folks ready to take a chance and learn sales from colleagues, aiming to climb the ranks and eventually manage their own office elsewhere. Two of us were invited back the next Monday for a working interview. We started around 9 AM with some pep talks and a pre-sales meeting, then hit the road with sales reps. I shadowed someone for the day, which was eye-opening. I learned the company and business are legit, with great, friendly people eager to invest in you if you're willing to step out of your comfort zone. They sell discounted office supplies for Staples, which is manageable since businesses already buy these things and you're just getting them a better price. There's potential for money if you're confident and work hard, and it doesn't seem like you're micromanaged, giving you control over your schedule. The downside is that while it's B2B sales, it's mostly door-to-door to businesses, and getting just 5 orders out of dozens of visits is a good day. The focus is on new clients, not so much on existing ones or building relationships. The whole business model has its issues and isn't for everyone. TL;DR: Good people who invest in you, and a solid place for sales experience if you're okay with B2B door-to-door sales.

They really took their time to get to know me and my goals, which they do because they are VERY selective to maintain a positive culture. The interviewer totally explained the entire job duties and career path to see if I was a good fit. He didn't just read my resume and ask about that; he asked about me, my dreams, and aspirations.

The description of the job was unclear about the actual day-to-day responsibilities. It focused heavily on teamwork and cooperation, but I never got a clear picture of what the role truly entails. It was a lengthy interview for what seemed like a straightforward position.
